A delicate pour delivered 2 fingers of slightly off-white head. This takes quite a while to die down, and leaves me with half a finger throughout consumption. A lot of bubbles are rushing from bottom to top, like a mob frantically trying to escape a horde of zombies. Body light gold. Very nice lacing also noted.
Hops (citrus and pine) and lemon are the main aromas. Wheat and yeast pop in after a bit of searching. After it warms up there is a segue flavor, you get a hint of sour apple going from hops to wheat/yeast. Wheast, lol.
Tastes like sunshine in a glass! I'm just kidding, but it is good. It follows the nose, citrus hops, not overly bitter, lemon being a main point, into wheat and yeast. It's almost too fresh though. For it being a farmhouse/saison, I was hoping for a little funk. But I won't dock it for not having it.
Light bodied. Plays quickly over the tongue, neither sticky nor overly drying. It's refreshing with just a little bite.

Reviewing after the fact. 750 poured in to pint glass.
Great color, great head. Wonderful retention and lacing. Not quite as bright on the nose as you would expect a Belgian, but still the spiciness and tangy, straw/hey characters you want. This thing is almost dead on the money for flavor profile. The yeast compliments this brew nicely and I'm digging the subtle hop character. Some brewers use an overbearing yeast strain on the malts, but not this, and the Champagne yeast used for condition really drys it up nicely. Nice carbonation in the mouth. Drying, warming, tingling spiciness.
What a great brew that I almost passed up on. If you like the Saison/Farmhouse/Belgian style, pick it up.
