The ale pours yellow in color, a bit hazy (but not too much) and with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is zesty and refreshing. I would even say grassy, and after looking up "sorachi", I would also say definitely lemongrass. Taste is very refreshing as well. It hits first with a bit of tartness, but then it transforms to a more earthy taste. Aftertaste is very pleasant. I would call this ale light to medium-body. At first taste I found the hoppy kick a bit off-putting, but after going through half the bottle, it is definitely appreciated. Very easy to drink. Probably would taste even better if I was drinking it outside on a hot day (as opposed to inside on a cool spring evening).
Reinforces my appreciation of my local brewery - Brooklyn!
