Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass. Good solid pop off the cork.
Pours solid, but a very soapy looking white head, Body is a slightly cloudy yellow orange with classic rising carbonation in the middle. Little lacing, some spotty puck as well. Looks pretty light for a saison no complaints.
Bouquet is a light lemon and fruity estery with light yeast notes. Hint of light sugars too. Crisp smelling, a little butter ghee like, much like a pale or Belgian strong ale than a saison. I dig it very light.
Taste is sharp butter of ghee then the palate sweetens to some sugar and stinging yeast. Just a hint of barnyard, and a very quick sharp crisp bubbly champagne "brut"-ness. That sharpness sticks around just long enough and then lingers slowly like good tonic water. Pleasurable tickle on the tongue this is really like that.
Overall this is just great take on a saison, real glad I picked this one up.

Appearance- Very light straw yellow coloration, hazy. Good head, frothy and white.
Smell- Yeast, cat pee.
Taste- Strong Belgian yeast comes through here. Slight barnyard character. Very lemony with some grassy notes. Hint of soapiness. Finishes dry with medium hop character.
Mouthfeel- Highly effervescent carbonation.
Overall a unique and interesting Saison. I'd rank it just behind Tank 7 and Hennepin.
