A - golden blonde, high carbonation with tons of bubbles coming from the bottom, and a good inch of pure white head.

S - Lots of yeast, some citrus, mostly likely lemons or lemon peel. Nice malt aroma to it as well

T - Definitly not what I was expecting. On the bottle they describe this as "Sunshine in a bottle." With that kind of description I was expecting a much more dynamic citrus taste. Maybe some oranges and grapefruit with the lemons. Instead it was just a small out of bitter lemon flavor with a ton of yeast and some sweet malt that tried to even out with no success.

M - Lots of carbonation, felt good on the tongue. Bitter, and with the high amount of yeast it was rough drinking.

O - This was a pretty average beer. Nothing exciting about it. I've had blue moons that have tasted better. Was not worth the $14 that I paid for 750ml.

Poured into Tulip glass from bomber bottle.

Cloudy, golden in color, minimal head retention and lacing.

Love the funky Belgian style smell, big estery profile w/lemon and banana peel, dried pineapple, also very bready with more malt presence than expected.

Sweet citrus, some spice, hoppier finish than other Saisons.

Mouthfeel is very crisp, high carbonation that finishes dry.

I like this more than Dupont. A different take on the style with the additional hops and carbonation. The carbonation put me off at first but really settled in after more tasting. Would think the beer was bigger ABV% based on aroma and taste. Outstanding.

A - Pale, straw yellow. Gives two fingers of white head, and leaves some nice lacing.

S - Yeasty, lemon(oh god the lemon!), lemongrass, and a little funk.

T - Follows the nose pretty well, a nice dose of lemon, some yeasty flavor, mild bitterness from the sorachi ace hop, and a little funk.

D - Pretty good, moderate carbonation and fairly easy going for a 7.6% abv

O - A great saison, one of my favorites. They call it sunshine in a bottle and they are on point.

750 mL bottle tried 14 Oct 2010. Served in the 0.4 L Kur Pils snifter.

Pours with a large white head, well carbonated. Slightly hazy pale straw yellow in color. Aroma is floral, yeasty, perfumey and herbal. Starts tart and yeasty, floral and tangy. Some lemon through the middle. Warming alcohol, medium body. A says a champagne like finish, somewhat bitter and floral. Lingering yeasty, grapey aftertaste.

At a better price point, would keep this in the house all the time.

A: Super pale. Huge head and some decent lacing.

S: Amazing. I've never smelled anything like this from a beer before. Lavender, lemon oil, apricots, wax.

T: The lemongrass flavor dominates everything. There are some decent grainy malt and orange citrus notes to not make this so one-dimensional. Reminds me of a amped up witbier mixed with a saison.

M: Bubbly, quaffable. A real big flavor with a light body.

O: This one is flat out great. The best Brooklyn beer I've had so far. This one is more expensive than the Local 1/2 though so who knows when I'll buy this again.
