A - A nice Ruby red with hints of brown, on top is a thin off white head that drops quickly to a ring that leaves decent lacing.
S - Mild nose is obviously malt driven. Musty, nutty, toasty, caramel. But it works and smells good to me for a Marzen
T - Really mild and clean, again somewhat toasty, vegetable, and caramel. Although I'm guessing it's not textbook I like it a lot compared to some others in the same category. Ends clean, I want more.
M/D - Full body leaves some sticky residue post-sip but still manages to end light and clean. Maybe a little low on the carbonation. Easy to drink, nothing fancy but I think that makes this beer what it is, and to me that's good!

Review from notes
Auburn colored, nice lacing. Mildly nutty with a good dose of malts. Slight touch of metallic. Flavor is malt forward with delicate hop finish. Mild bitterness. Smooth carbonation, crisp. Pretty good overall. Not something I want to seek out but if it's there I'll drink it.

Appearance: 1" cream colored head fades fairly quickly leaving faint soapy looking lacing. Amber color and somewhat cloudy with moderate carbonation
Aroma: toasted bread, caramel, a bit of hop spice
Mouthfeel: mostly light but not as light as a pale lager, just slightly sticky, somewhat dry finish Flavor: toasted bread, caramel malts, a definite hop bite in the middle and finish.
Overall: very good, but not the best Oktoberfest.
