Reviewed with Chrissy,
Appearance: light yellow with 1/2 finger of head.
Smell: belgian yeast, hint of citrus zest and wheat lingering in the background.
Taste: I get a Belgian yeast in the opens as a lemon yest and wheat take over. There is a distinct belgian wit and hop finish leaving a mild hop and light nalt profile.
Mouthfeel: light bodied with moderate carbonation, drying finish.
Drinkability: I would have this again and recommend this to those seeking a yeasty and zesty brew with a hop finish.
Serving type: growler

This brew poured out as a nice golden orange color with a thin white head on top. The smell of the beer was sweet and had some other aromas coming off of it. The taste of the beer was decent. I was hoping to get a little more of the sweetness from the honey but for some reason I struggled to get any. The mouthfeel was ok, It was a little on the light side I thought. Overall not my favorite Braggot ale but I was happy to try it.

honey colored amber with no head and no lace. The color on this was simply gourgeous, I had not seen anything this shade before, quite stunning actually.
The smell was strong with alcohol straight from the start. Once you got past that, there were very subtle honey aromas and hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. A nice bready grain presence as well as grapes, pears, and a bit of fig could be detected, again though, lots of alcohol on the nose right from the start. The first impression of the taste was hot damn this is strong! Had a definate mead like feel and taste about it. Flavors were were overshadowed a bit by the alcohol. which you really needed to fight your way through. I could detect the ever so slight hint of honey, and alot of the grape flavor in it. Hints of peaches or pears could be detected as well as alot of winter like spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc.
