Cellar temp. About 6-7 months old. Poured into a Portsmouth tulip.
A- Pours a black body with a nice 2-finger chocolate colored head that shows lasting power. Some nice lacing, too.
S- Dark, bittersweet chocolate. Almost none of the 10% abv comes through. A little oakiness to it as well with brings some vanilla aromas.
T- Just like the smell with a little more of the abv present in the finish. A wonderful flavor of chocolate with a hint of that oaky- vanilla flavor. Nice burnt coffee flavors as well.
MF- Big and creamy. Nice bold flavors that last and last on the palate. Only negative is that I think it might have too much carbonation, especially at this temp.
