Cellared one year.
Pours very dark with a deep tan head that is quite dense.
Deep roasted malt aroma with hints of chocolate and burnt malts.
Hop bouquet as expected was sutle.
Definitely big roasted maltiness here. Hints of burnt malts, smoke, cofee and chocolate. Hops are less intrusive after a year but a nice bitter bit is present.
A thick full bodied beer that is smooth with a good alcohol warming on finish.
A fair amount of alcohol and the style in general would prevent me from having more then maybe two.
Serving type: bottle
