12 oz bottle into a SA Perfect Pint
A - Slightly hazy light amber pour with a solid and creamy looking vanilla colored head. Great retention with a sticky lace.
S - Light aroma of cinnamon and ginger; a little nutmeg...pie spice for sure. Feint toasted malt aroma with a yeasty, somewhat bready kick.
T&M - A very smooth beer, with a nice blend of spice flavors that follow the nose. Bitterness is felt mostly in the finish, and seems slightly more pronounced than most pumpkins; in fact, the sweet/bitter balance I'm finding to be somehwat unique considering the style typically leans to sweet.
O - An incredibly easy to drink, smooth, well-balanced pumpkin ale. I'd happily give this to someone who wasn't sure if they would enjoy the style.
