Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a medium golden color with a two finger white head. The head last for ~ 3 min before fading as the big bubbles pop to give a lighter level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is malty and bready with some lighter notes of a caramel sweetness. With these aromas are some lighter herbal and citrus hop aromas as well.
Taste – The taste begins bready with a very small amount of sweetness. The sweetness is lost quite rapidly with some bitter earthy hop flavors coming to the tongue. A light citrus flavor then develops at the end and when combined with the earthy hop, it leaves a bitter and dry malt flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body was rather thin in nature with a carbonation level that is slightly above normal. Both are quite nice for the drier style and make for one very easy drinking and refreshing brew.
Overall – Not a bad brew. It was rather lacking in some of its flavors and transitions, but it is quite refreshing.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light haze and moderate effervescence. Head is a thick finger of frothy white foam. Pretty good!
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a yeasty character and a bit of a floral aroma. I rather like it.
Taste: drier than the aroma; there's a little bit of graininess here and a less-floral, more noble hop character. Bitterness and hops are subtle, but appropriate to a German Pilsner. I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and concomitant creaminess.
Overall: highly quaffable Pilsner. It's not crisp and bitter like a Czech, but is appropriately rounded like a German version of the style. I think it is a success.
