Had on tap in a pint glass.
Pours a slightly hazy dark copper with really no head to speak of and absolutely no lacing at all. Pretty poor all-around.
Aroma is caramel and toffee along with a touch of dark fruit. Maybe a little grass from the hops.
The flavor closely follows the smell. Very malt heavy with toffee and a bit of roast. Dark fruits are prominent as well. Medium bitterness with some hay and grass. Sticky finish is a little more than I was expecting.
Overall, I'm not very impressed with this one. There are some ice flavors buried in there but it is a little muddy overall and a bit too sticky.
Serving type: on-tap
