On tap at Max's the other day.
The beer pours a fairly dark gold color with good head retention and light lacing. The menu indicates that this witbeer was made with lime and coriandor, but I'm not picking up much of either on the nose. Mostly, I'm just picing up a considerable amount of clove and light honey, with maybe some underlying lemon and light coriandor. The beer is better on the palate, as now I'm picking up more of the lime, and it's a welcome addition to the clove, honey and light coriandor. The beer is a bit sweeter than I normally like to see in a wit beer, but is other pretty tasty and drinkable. Mouthfeel is a bit light with a somewhat watery finish, and I get some spice at the very end.
A nice enough wit, but it seems like there are a million others out there that are pretty similar to the version from Brooklyn brewing.
