On-tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY

A: The beer is clear dark amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that gradually died down, leaving a patch of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge and lacing down the sides.
S: There are aromas of caramel malts in the nose along with notes of pine resin from the hops. The pine becomes stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste has more flavors of caramel malts and less of the piney hops. A very slight amount of bitterness is present. As the beer warms up, the hop flavors become stronger and more balanced with the malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied and silky smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a nice mix of flavors and seems to resemble a hybrid between an American Amber Ale and an American IPA. The drinkability is excellent and there is a good balance between the malts and hops.
