On tap in a pint glass.
A--Hazy, orangey/straw color. Clean, white head that stuck around for a minute and left some trails of lacing.
S--What I want/expect from a spiced ale. Yeast, pepper, banana, citrus (lemon?).
T--Oh yeah, that's the stuff I'm looking for. Spicy (pepper), sweet (honey/candy sugars), a bit of the banana comes through. A healthy amount of yeastiness. This tastes just like I'd dial it up if I could.
M--Medium bodied. Warming (from high abv?). Creamy and perfectly carbonated.
O--The real deal. A genuine competitor for Victory Golden Monkey among U.S. versions of this Belgian style. Excellent all around.
Serving type: on-tap
