Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours clear golden amber color with a one finger head of just off white foam. The heads fades over bout a 2 min time frame to leave a light level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is mainly of a bready and doughty smell mixed with some sweeter aromas of some toffee and caramel as well as some lighter fruits of apricot, white grape, and pear. Along with these smells comes some light floral and earthy hop smells.
Taste – The taste begins bready and doughty taste with some fruity flavors mixed within. The fruity flavors are mainly of an apricot, grape, and peach nature which meld well with the doughty flavors of the brew rather nicely. While hops are relatively light upfront, they grow stranger more toward the end of the taste. A caramel and toffee flavor later develop in the taste enhancing the sweetness and malty taste a bit as some more biscuit comes to the tongue as well. A little bit of hay and some grass and earth come to the tongue at the very end leaving a nicely balanced hoped but malty and fruity-sweet maibock flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly above average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. For the style the slightly thicker and chewier body are nice for the style and accentuate the malty and lightly hopped flavors of the brew nicely.
Overall – A fairly nice and easy drink and balanced maibock. It has a little bit more hop then the normal, which balances out the sweeter and malty flavors rather nicely. Overall it is a rather tasty brew and well worth a try.

More of that peachy amber maibock color vs the golden versions. Head is a thin cover. Some lace with poor reach. Tendrils don't hold.
Nose has musty grain, fruity esters, hop grit, and quieter yeast aromas. Spells golden apple, apricot, pear, and herbal humulus. Very nice.
Lots of toasted barley malt, grassiness, and late hop bitterness. Pilsner-esque finish with that alkaline hoppiness and lawn trimming flavor. Slightly metallic, but that's forgivable after the fruit play. Apricot and white grape. All in all, very grainy flavors with a rigorous bittering hop presence.
Cerebral Pourtex has some slowdown alcohol heat, but the propulsion remains with the bitter bitiness. The body is medium, but that spiciness adds dimension. Saved by the bubbles.
Pretty tasty ale. Smells fruitier than it tastes. Deviating from classic representation, but still a decent helles bock.
