Bottle into a pint glass
A: The appearance is an orange-ish colored beer with a nice head that lingers for quite a while. The beer also left great lacing throughout the drinking process.
S: The aroma is a nice and mild citrus hoppiness that is quite appealing.
T: The taste is an excellent balance of malt with a very nice coating of citrus and floral hop flavors dancing across the top. The hops are crisp on the tongue and taste slightly of apricots and other fruits.
M: The brew is medium bodied and nice and refreshing.
O: I much prefer American IPA's over English styled ones , but this is probably the best English style IPA i have ever had. THis is an excellent beer and very tasty and well balanced for an IPA.

Served on cask in Philly. smell is all resony hops, taste has some notes of caramel bread. A lot of raw hop oils on the finish. A tasty hopped up IPA with a strong balance of caramel, grainy malts. Enjoyable, would have it again to dig a little deeper.

I picked this up at Wegmans, poured chilled from the 12oz bottle into a mug.
the color is medium amber with great clarity and thick white head with fine bead. The lace clings in rings on the glass with very good retention. The smell is faintly fruity with a slight meaty smell of yeast with toast in the background, not much in the way of hop aroma. The feel is very good, moderate bitterness and carbonation mellow sweetness with semi-dry finish and low alcohol influence.
The taste is good which is a surprise based on the smell- mix of sweet caramel with a light yeast up front leads to more of an herbal hop taste with slight fruitiness which seems to blend the hop and yeast flavors with a mild spice element in the finish. Overall this is pretty drinkable, could use more hop flavor than just bitterness, but considering it is an English IPA it is better than most of the style
