Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe all others pale in comparison to this one. Crisp and hoppy, Philadelphia Pale Ale is brewed with Pilsner malt and American hops, which impart a surprising citrus aroma.

12oz can poured into a nonic pint glass. Look is clear gold, white frothy head that falls to a cap. Some lacing left behind as you sip. Generous amount of carbonation bubbles rising up into the head. Smell is citrus and pineapple. Not an overwhelming aroma, but nice. Taste is citrus fruit forward, the middle sees a bit of malt flavor, but just enough to balance out the hops. Finish is pretty short with some rind bitterness and an orange/lemon send off. Feel is light, good carbonation to keep the beet lively and refreshing. Overall, a bit light on flavor and body, but easy to drink and flavorful.

Bottled on 2.27.23
Poured at fridge temp into a willi glass
Pours clear and pale golden with a tall bright white head that leaves a nice spiderweb lacing and 1/2finger head/cap. 4
Light citrus hop note and malty breadiness, mostly soft orange and lemon. Delicate but delightful aroma. 4
Flavor seems to do the same, hop florals and citrus, some light Simcoe bitterness and then a kiss of breadiness. 3.75
Light, very easy drinking with a hint of hop oil aftertaste. 3.75
Overall a different kind of pale ale than I'm used to, but I really enjoy the aroma and taste. 4

12 ounce bottle poured into a nonic style pint glass.
L: Almost clear gold, about a finger I’d whit foam on top, head fades to a thin cap in less than a minute.
S: Nice hoppy nose is a little weak, citrus, minerals, notes of pineapple.
T: Hoppy, moderate bitterness, sharp overall, not sweet, zesty and floral hops
F: Crisp and thin bodied, chalky feel.
O: Not bad, definitely American but not of the “juicy variety”.

Poured a clear golden/amber color with a significant white head and good head retention. It has a sweet, hoppy aroma that is very pleasant but a bit subdued. The taste is slightly bitter and malty. Overall, This is a very refreshing, session ale.

Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale has a thick, spongy, white head, with a somewhat hazy, golden appearance, and heavy lacing. The aroma is of honey, bread crust, and yeast. The flavor is similar, with robust bitterness. Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale has a medium body and a mostly-dry finish.

Real pretty out of the bottle into the pint featuring a billowy white head. A bit grainy in the taste, with some mildly medicinal hops but not a ton of real flavor. A bit thin in texture but I can see the attempt at a pale ale, it just doesn't quite hit.
