12 oz. bottle poured into pint glass.
A: Nicely amber colored ale. Ever so slightly cloudy, but an overall nice clarity. White, bubbly head eventually fades down into a thin, but consistent head. Leaves kind of lackluster lacing down the glass, but at least it's there.
S: Quite fruity. Grapefruit being the most notable, with slight undertones of hops coming through. A lot more pleasant than expected.
T: Slightly fruity, with those grapefruit notes being the most prominent on the tongue as well. A pleasant, mild bitterness throughout. A nice dash of citrus and hops in the finish.
F: A little on the overcarbonated side, but nothing off-putting. Carbonation seems to settle as the beer sits. Slightly thin, but definitely drinkable.
O: Seeing as how I'm from Philly, this beer was a must-try. It's affordable and widely available since it's local. It's not something I'd buy a case of for myself, but if I were going to a party and wanted to save a few bucks while still picking up an enjoyable beer, I'd definitely choose this over other budget pale ales. Not a mandatory must-try, but definitely acceptable and a really good choice if you want something light, flavorful, and refreshing on a hot day.

12 oz bottle was poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale yellow orange color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Loaf of bread, some pilsner sweetness, toasted, and some herbal, grassy, and citrus hops.
Taste: Same as above with more citrus notes and some bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Light, crisp, refreshing, a little chewy, and medium carbonation. Just the a pale ale is supposed to drink.
Overall: A very simple and straightforward pale ale. Definitely sessionable and can enjoyed multiple times over the course of the day.
