A large warehouse type place, this is situated in what feels like the middle of nowhere very close to the French border. This was only the second Belgian beer warehouse I went to and for me it was like being a child in a sweet shop with row upon row of beers and glasses. I spent about 100 Euros on beer, glasses and some chocolates and left with a trolley full.

Now that I've sampled a range of beers I've got a better idea what I like and will be heading back to Vanuxeem and several other places in the next week.

Prices were I thought excellent, there was no pressure to hurry up or buy, and a good range of gift boxes etc for presents either for friends and family or for yourself.

A real beer-supermarket ( biggest choice in the region and cheap ) .
They have more beers in stock then on their website. Some beers (like Struise ) are very quick sold out because they only have a small amount of bottles available .

The location is not far from the first world war memorial in ploegsteert.

On of the cheapest beer shop in Belgium (Black Damnation 75cl at 18 euro). Nice selection of belgian beers (Cantillon, Struise, Dolle, Viven and much more). No international beer.
Looks like a supermarket.
Also selling alcohol, chocolate, biscuits...

Found this using Tim Webbs Good Beer Guide to Belgium: The location is good for the channel ports if coming up the E42 from Lille.

It is a great big warehouse with a small bar inside selling their own beers on tap. The rest of the warehouse is full of beer, other drinks and glasses: we are talking about row upon row of different Belgian beers here, crates, huge bottles, 75cl bottles, gift packs, one offs you'll never see again, specials, regulars, favourites as well as stuff you know and love.

I spent a very happy hour wandering around and left with 94 Euro's worth of beer and a Rum from Fiji. I could have easily spent more time and a whole lot more money if the car hadn't already got a stash of booze in it already.

You are just left alone to wander and stare, but help is on hand should you require any.

This beer store is located right on the border with France, in a small village. They almost don't have international beers, except for some Unibroue and a few French beers. But their Belgian selection was really interesting with all the classics and lots of local breweries. They probably have two or three hundred different beers.

It is kind of a beer supermarket, you can buy all the beers in cases. They also have a nice selection of glassware and make many packs or baskets with a selection of beers and glasses if you don't really know what you want.

What is really cool is that it is so cheap. I bought 50 bottles (mostly 33cl ones) and only paid 50 euros. They have great sales where you get two for one for example. Beers were about three times cheaper than at my local beer store in Strasbourg, and they are even cheaper than at French supermarkets. The only problem is that you need a car to get there. But it really is worth a trip.
