On tap in a sample glass.

Appearance: Clear light yellow color with a thin white head.

Smell: Sweet grains like corn, malts and wheat. Little bit of hops.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth light bodied. Sweet tasting with some alcohol present.

Overall: Your usual lager I would say. It was good and refreshing, but nothing really stood out about it.

From the 16 fl. oz. can. Sampled on June 10, 2014.

The pour is a slight hazy, maybe chill hazed, pale yellow with a quick lasting white fizzy head.

The aroma has some nice toasted rich grainy malts with hops downplayed. Yeasty elements.

The body is medium to full. Bold in some respects. Chewy.

The taste has the luscious crusted toast maltiness with a mild and mellow bitterness at the finish. Quite easy to drink.

On tap at the source 8/25/2012.
Comes to the table a medium golden color with a smallish white head by the time the waitress sets the glass down. Smells of rich bready sweet honey like malts mostly. A hint of floral hop is there to provide a hint of balance. The flavor is quite malty and sweet with a solid shot of bready almost caramel like pilsner malt that gets slightly balanced with some floral hops. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet malty mouthfeel. Nice helles not the best I've ever had but definitely quaffable.
