Presentation: In honor of the temperature pushing 60 today, the sun shining and the birds chirping, I though I would sample a beer more suited for warmer weather. Poured from a 12 oz brown bottle into a small weizen glass. Label depict a minimalist picture of a sun rising over a field of wheat, its rays spreading out in all directions. The sun just happens to be an orange. Described as a wheat ale brewed with spices, coriander and orange peel. No freshness dating.
Appearance: Pours with 1 1/2 fingers of light tan head. This settles slowly to a half finger cap of foam. The beer itself is a perfectly clear medium orange. Significant sediment remains in the bottle and after some back and forth, i decide the swirl and pour like a true hefe. The beer then becomes hazy to the point of being opaque.
Smell: Tangy wheat aroma upfront with hints of citrus and an undertone of bubblegum phenols.
Taste: Crisp citrus and orange upfront layered against a backdrop of slightly sweet malt and a distinct wheat twang. Finishes with a slight astringency.
Mouthfeel: Higher than average carbonation. Body if good.
Drinkability: A crisp and refreshing wheat beer that can almost make me think the warm weather is here to stay. Not sure how available this is even though I am only one state away, but I wouldn't be against having it again.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed golden yellow color with a one finger head of billowy white foam. The head fades rather quickly leaving a fantastic level of foamy rings of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of an orange smell mixed with a strong showing of wheat. Along with these are some lighter notes of a yeasty smell as well as a bit of lemon.
Taste – The taste begins with a wheat bread flavor mixed with a little bit of a drier orange flavor. The orange flavor lessens a bit as the flavor advances being replaced by some flavors of a more lemon like citrus. All the while a decent yeasty and lightly hopped grassy flavor comes to the tongue. In the end with the loss of the orange, increase in the lemon and grass and maintenance of the wheat a somewhat crisp and dry flavor is left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Both are rather fitting for the style creating a rather refreshing feel.
Overall – An alright and rather crisp brew, but really nothing that is worth going out of your way for.
