Notes/Commercial Description:
Lager is made the world over, but Creemore Springs Premium Lager is one of a kind. In all our travels, we've never found another like it. From the start, we've fire-brewed our flagship beer to be unique. It’s always made with the best ingredients and a strict adherence to traditional brewing methods. It’s just different up here, and so is our lager.

I'm not a huge Amber/Red Lager fan, so it's hard for me to give this beer an unbiased review. That being said, I'd say it was just below average for it's style. It was average in appearance and mouthfeel, but totally "musty" in taste. That's the most notable quality about this beer that I can mention. I had a couple, but it's not one that I'd buy again.

A: I expected this to be a standard AAL so i was at first a bit surprised by the color. Amber in appearance. Nicely retained head with pretty good lacing as well.

S: Sweet malts. A faint bit of hops. Caramel and cereal grains.

T: Sweet bread crust with some nice caramel as well. Sweeter but not cloying. Hops come through a bit more on the palate then in the aroma. Slightly spicy and maybe even the slightest bit herbal but they take more of a back seat.

M: Carbonation is a bit higher but appropriate for the style. Nice light/meduim body.

O: Good beer and could be easy to drink a few of. Reminds me of sam adams or anchor steam. nice surprise.

Picked this up across the border.

Pours a mild golden color with a frothy white head into my glass. There's no dancing around anything here.

Sweet with a nice touch of hops in the nose.

Creamy texture that's a good mix of sweet and bready.

Grainy finish compliments the overall profile.

This is much more than I was expecting. Wow.

A great local beer from Ontario. Worth the higher-than-average price for a tallboy, coming in at around $2.90 per one tall can.

Drank from: Tall can

Appearance: 4/5. The can looks great, having a small-town, homely feel to it. The beer itself looks great too; exactly what one wants in a lager.

Smell: 4/5. Nothing particularly rewarding about the smell, does not smell bad, inviting aroma that stays interesting even after 4-5 beers.

Taste: 4.25/5. Great tasting beer! Feels good drinking it. Clean taste, not muddled down with preservatives, really refreshing and a true taste.

Mouthfeel: 4.25/5. As I said for the taste, it feels good to drink this beer. It's cleanliness is really showcased, you don't get any chemical or unpleasant tastes. Just good beer.

Overall: 4.25/5. One of my preferred beers. I've only encountered them in tall cans, and that's fine with me. Will gladly drink this beer if given the option!
