Pilsner was first made back in 1842 by the Bohemians. They used special pale malt and an abundance of hops to create a delicious, golden beer. Up here at Creemore Springs we fire-brew our pilsner the same traditional way, using only four natural ingredients starting with our own clear flowing spring water. It’s eminently drinkable, and always refreshing. Classic yet unique; it’s our fresh take on a traditional Czech pilsner.

473ml can into nonic pint. the can had a late january or early february code printed on it but i don't remember the exact date. enjoyed on february 23, 2015

a: ultra clear golden yellow with two fingers of white head. typical boring pilsner look

s: strong pilsner malt aroma up front -- sweet bready grains and honey. slight floral touches from the hops as well. also a slight sulphuric note that i get from most creemore beers

t: follows the nose. delicious and strong crackery-bready-grainy pilsner malt right away. these flavours fade out somewhat quickly, giving way to a bitter & slightly floral hop presence

m: semi-lively carbonation and a light-but-not-watery mouthfeel. dry finish

o: a flavourful, easy-going pilsner. love it

Pilsner is my favourite kind of beer. But I also like heavier north American lagers, (like Creemore!) This is a pilsner from that perspective, and it's good! It has a good pilsner bite, but full of flavour. This is one of my favourite beers, anywhere.

Poured from can. Cereal and hay aroma. Clear and golden with white head. Very light bitter taste. Light body, thin texture, lively carbonation, with an abrupt finish. Pretty average overall.

Big can from the State store in Charlottetown.
Pours a brilliantly clear deep golden color with a good sized bubbly white head that lasts forever. Sweet grainy bready pilsner and faint spicy floral hops. Flavor follows the aroma quite well. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. A bit sweet but easy enough to drink, I enjoyed this.
