Kellerbier is an unfiltered, medieval German beer known for its naturally cloudy appearance. Served straight from the brewmaster’s cellar, it was a true honour for special guests visiting a brewery to be offered a taste. These days we happily make it available to one and all. Our Kellerbier is wonderfully aromatic with a hint of citrus and spice imparted by German whole leaf hops. Not too many breweries make Kellerbier, but then, we've always done things a little differently.

Can: Poured a bright lightly hazy copper color lager with a large foamy head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with floral undertones and some clean crisp hops. Taste is a well balanced mix between some floral malt with notes dry caramel and a light green hoppy finish. Body was quite full with good carbonation. Very well done though additional hops would have benefited this beer as well as slightly less filtration.

Pours a very lightly cloudy, semi-clear, warm copper colour with gorgeous two finger thick, dense foamy head that condenses into a lasting one finger head. Creemores Kellerbier is a limited release, this years is just out. This is super fresh
Aromas of floral hops, they are noble hop in character. Slight hint of bitterness. Ceres grains and very lightly toasted malt.
Taste follows the nose but in unexpected ways and with a few nifty additions. Opening gently bitter, grassy, moving into a grainy and mildly malty flavour. I note general fruits, and of note, white grapes?
Pleasantly grainy on the palate, moderate carbonation of tiny bubbles, makes a more compact, gently filling sip but with plenty of carbonation in the stomach. Light-medium in body. Gentle finish of floral hop essence and grains.
All of Creemores beers are eminently drinkable, but can be fairy plain. For a kellerbier, this is straightforward, for a Creemore this is pleasantly unique. Really excellent offering by them. The very slight ‘unfiltered’ quality is very Creemore, meant to be enjoyed by as many people as possible. They could definitely dial up the flavours and add even more grist and yeast in the can but hey, good stuff either way.

Pours a beige, hazy body, with a good amount of fluffy and creamy off-white head at the top. The scent is fairly light, with some noble hops and faint maltiness coming through. The taste has distinctly rich and spicy malts throughout it, with a pop of bitterness at the back of the palate from the hops. The feel is really smooth, with spot on carbonation levels. Might be too easy to drink...

Sharp almost sour mouthfeel. Nice bit of funk here.

clear golden amber colour with a couple inches of head that fizzes away.
sweet malts on the nose. fresh whole grain bread. grapes, light fruit.
malts at the front with the slight sweetness and green apple. in the middle it gains more depth with rye bread and grains. finish comes in with surprising hopy bitterness that was on the nose. Finish is nice and long with the malts coming through again. Warm alcohol on the back of the throat.
Body feels very light and smooth at first but changes after a few seconds in the mouth to gain body.
Overall pretty impressed. Very nice balance between malts and hops with nice grainy and fruit flavours. Drinks easy but plenty to enjoy in each sip. Worth seeking out if you enjoy a crisp balanced brew with enough complexity to hold your attention!
