On cask at Tustin

A: The pour is just about orange in color with a soapy white head and some mild lacing.

S: A pretty decent amount of citrus to the nose, mostly lemon peel and grapefruit. Quite a bit of grapefruit, truth be told. There's also a substantial amount of bread and a bit of tea.

T: Not overwhelmingly bitter, but good enough. There's a fair amount of grapefruit, orange, and lemon in terms of the hop flavors. Quite a lot of bread and a moderate pine quality.

M: The body is medium with that typical low cask carbonation. It's a bit too room temperature for my liking.

D: At the very least, this is better than the regular version of this beer. (662 characters)

Sampled 1/28/2011 at the brewpub on cask, way too warm and flat.

Pours yellow, mostly clear, creamy white head, good lacing, decent retention.

Aroma is pineapple, armpit, pine, and lots of orange juice. Nice but kind of an odd combination.

Flavor is not good mostly because of how warm this beer is. Homemade/fresh squeezed orange juice splashed onto an armpit and infused with pineapple chunks and raw weed filtered through a pinecone. But then the whole thing is watered down and brought to a roiling boil before being placed in front of you. Also contains sand or some other drying agent.

Body is medium, temperature is hot, drinkability is neglίble.
