Ordered a .3L at the brewpub.
This beer is just to clean and plain. There's a decent pale grains flavor with slight balancing hops. Really though, it's a lot like your typical European pale lager, but on the less-offensive end of the spectrum. I suppose it's not bad for washing down wurst or rosti, but I'll pass on a second stange.

From my experience at the altes Tramdepot, the Helles was the least good of their three beers, albeit refreshing for the 25+ degrees celcius on that day.
The pour is pale straw, completely translucid although very shiny and attractive. The head is a bit thicker than usual for lagers, and goes well along with the brightness of the liquid because of its sharp white tone.
the smell is weak but carries a strong grainy feel- the malt is perfectly noticeable- and the hops also come along into the situation.
The taste is not too strong and- despite the hops at the nose- turns out a bit bland, with a considerably sweet and metallic feel turning out into a soft, bitter ending.
The body is also a bit uneventful, appropriate thirst quencher after the walk towards the place.
