On tap at Trinity Brewhouse; served in a pint glass.

Appearance: A nice, copper-golden color, with a medium-sized white head. Not much in the way of retention, and only light lacing.

Aroma: I didn't get really any hops coming through at all, mostly just maltiness.

Taste: A pretty good IPA; not really featuring any crazy hop flavor, but a more standard English-style product. Malty, with a lot of piny bitterness instead of hoppy juiciness coming through.

Feel: Crisp and smooth, with some lingering stickiness after sipping.

Overall: A pretty good English IPA. Not my favorite, and the aroma was seriously lacking, but if it was on tap with the macros, I'd pick this instead.

This is a nasty malt bomb! I don't know if the bottle was sitting in the shelf for 2 years before I got it? But it was a drain pour. Just being honest.

Twelve ounce bottle. Could not find a bottle or best by date.

A: Pours a darkish orange/copper with a nearly 1-inch thick fluffy white head which lingers and yields clingy lace.

N: Caramel malty sweetness balances with a mild citrus and floral/herbal overtone.

T: More citrus here and some pine, herbal and earthy, grassy/hay, grainy malty sweetness.

M: Moderate body and medium carbonation. Fairly clean and bitter with a semi-dry finish.

O: A good traditional English IPA, so don't come expecting a West Coast hop bomb. One day I'd like to visit and try this on tap.
