Twelve ounce bottle. Could not find a bottle or best by date.
A: Pours a darkish orange/copper with a nearly 1-inch thick fluffy white head which lingers and yields clingy lace.
N: Caramel malty sweetness balances with a mild citrus and floral/herbal overtone.
T: More citrus here and some pine, herbal and earthy, grassy/hay, grainy malty sweetness.
M: Moderate body and medium carbonation. Fairly clean and bitter with a semi-dry finish.
O: A good traditional English IPA, so don't come expecting a West Coast hop bomb. One day I'd like to visit and try this on tap.

To celebrate NH4ker #30 Passaconaway
Very cloudy dandelion to dark wheat color. Thin head dissolves into a lichen pocked film.
Smells like herbal, earthy East Kent Goldings. Soft, prickly piney bubblegum EKG. Tastes hoppier than it smells with sharp piney bitter and dry cracker malt.
I'm not usually and English IPA guy but this is up there with the ones I like best (Berkshire Lost Sailer comes to mind). I think I prefer American brewers brewing Engilsh IPAs just like I like Billie Joe imitating an Englishman imitating an American better than a British accent. Yup.
