I am glad I made the drive down to Trinity (from Natick) during a business trip. Parking was on the street, but I was fortunate enough to get a spot about 1/2 a block away.
Unique vibe to the place, which was a decent mix of college kids and locals, along with a few out of towners. I was lucky to grab a seat at the bar, because it filled up quickly on a Wednesday night.
I was pleased to spot a Russian Imperial Stout offering which was very good and surprisingly hoppy for this style. Their IPA was also a nice offering.
Had a good conversation with a few young ladies from Portland, and we laughed as a local entertained us with his stories of venemous creatures in South Carolina. He also claimed to be from Pittsburgh, but when he told me he was a big 'Steel City Beer' drinker, I knew he was a bit off, in more ways than one. the bartender even chimed in and said he had never been to the burgh, but at least knew it was Iron City, nasty beer.
There was a downstairs area with another bar, which was also crowded and a bit dark as well. The local crowd seems to hang down in this area. The whole place is pretty dark, but that is a good thing.
I would definitely make the trek back if I am ever back in the area.

This brewery is in downtown Providence has the "normal" bar feel. Nothing too out of the ordinary. The brewing area is behind the bar and easy to see. The brews are very good and unfiltered.
When I visited, there were 4 or so people at the bar and one table other than mine and it still took quite a while to get service. Once my order was placed it took a bit of time to get my brew.
On the food side of things, the fries were disgusting, oily/greasy, limp, and pretty much room temperature. The corned beef ruben on the other hand was probably the best I've ever had. So when it comes to food it would seem a hit or miss sort of thing, but be very wary of the fries.
All in all if you visit I would stick to the beer and probably sit at the bar where service is probably a bit quicker.

Hands down, the best beer in downtown Providence! Yes, the food and atmosphere is better at Union Station, but you can't beat Sean Larkin's creations at Trinity. His stouts and belgian varietals are top notch and the Redrum is one that even Danny Torrance and "Tony" would appreciate. All the beer is brewed right in front of your eyes behind the bar and the pizzas, burgers, and fries are a strong compliment. Crowded when there's a game or an event at the Dunk, but on a sunny afternoon, there's no better place for a beer in the city.
