Finally made it to Trinity Brewhouse. After one stop, I definitely want to come back again. The building itself looks like an old wooden bar. It is a relatively big space. There are high tables on one end of the bar, and more of a sit down dining experience on the other. It has the feel of an older building and there is plenty of light as there are windows on three sides of the building since it is on a corner. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were the first people in on a Sunday afternoon, so perhaps we got more attention than usual. I really love the tap list: a saison, barleywine, and scotch ale on top of the usual suspects. The saison was really tasty. I love microbreweries who try and push boundaries with styles and I find that true with Trinity. The food was above average to good. We split a hearty plate of nachos. My wife had a turkey sandwich and I a chili burger. The burger was ok, but every thing else was good. The fries were exceptionally tasty. Overall I would certainly stop here again if not just for the variety of what is on tap. If you want a gourmet meal with lots of taps in Providence--go to Julians. If you want a very good homey meal with excellent homemade beers, stop here.

This brewery is in downtown Providence has the "normal" bar feel. Nothing too out of the ordinary. The brewing area is behind the bar and easy to see. The brews are very good and unfiltered.
When I visited, there were 4 or so people at the bar and one table other than mine and it still took quite a while to get service. Once my order was placed it took a bit of time to get my brew.
On the food side of things, the fries were disgusting, oily/greasy, limp, and pretty much room temperature. The corned beef ruben on the other hand was probably the best I've ever had. So when it comes to food it would seem a hit or miss sort of thing, but be very wary of the fries.
All in all if you visit I would stick to the beer and probably sit at the bar where service is probably a bit quicker.
