Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Cloudy straw gold color, full head of thin foam, which dissipated and left some thin lacing. Smell is light lemon citrus. Taste is a light lemon with good balance. feel is light and drinkable. Overall Very good.

12oz bottle best before 10-17-18
1/2" white and fairly dense head, good retention at 1/4". The Witbier is a pale gold with a very slight haze and a constant stream of carbonation rising for the bottom of the glass.
Wheat. Yeast. Spice. Orange. All appropriate and appealing.
Tangy citrus and wheat. Peppery spice.
Full mouthfeel and high carbonation. Longer finish than expected, orange peel lingers.
I feel this beer was spot on and true to style. Nice work!

L-Pours a bubbly headed golden wheat ale. The head is about half to a full inch.
S- Very Belgian! Yeasty up front with a nice bitter hop presence intertwined with a wheat finish. Spicy (clove for sure).
T- Bitter bite up front with a spicy undertone. Obviously very yeasty. Very Belgian inspired. A rewarding and well pronounced flavor that isn't too much and for sure isn't too little.
F- Lingers on the tongue a bunch. Not as light as I would like. Nice carb though.
O- First time hearing of this brewery and I'm pleasantly surprised. Overall a very well made witbier. The only one I've had better than this one is Saint Bernardus. This was a treat to have for sure. Enjoyed every drop of it.

Much too hoppy for the style. Should be categorized as an IPA.

Appearance: Hazy bright yellow in color, with a somewhat coarse white head, which retains well. Thick, patchy lacing adorns the glass walls.

Aroma: A bit hoppy for the style, grapefruit rind hops dominate the aroma. A decent amount of bread-like wheat malt is also present.

Taste: Opens with fairly sharp hops, followed by lesser coriander and wheat. As the taste progresses, the wheat malt and hops dominate, leaving little of the character of a traditional Witbier. Finishes with a moderate round of grapefruit hops.

Mouth feel: Smooth and full, very pleasant.

Drinkability/notes: If you always thought that traditional Witbier examples were under hopped, this is your beer. Its too hoppy for my taste, but, like everything from Real Ale, its a quality product, and very well-crafted.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

12/09/2018 Update: The present example is packaged in a twelve-ounce brown glass longneck bottle, with a pry-off crown. My impressions remain the same, its a hoppy Belgian Witbier.

Pouted into tulip glass. 2 finger head dissipated within two minutes. Smells very nice, citrus and spice. Cloudy. Tastes great, again herbal and spice. Coriander? Very nice witbier.
