12oz bottle with best-by date of 07/02/2015 poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: Pours a hazy copper-amber with 1 finger of white head
Smell: Faint yeast phenols
Taste: Belgian spice with some mixed earthy and citrus hop notes; a little alcohol in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium and slightly cloying
Overall: An interesting fusion of flavors. I'd categorize it as a hoppy-amber-saison.

So happy to find this worthy alternative to, or successor of, the remarkable Celis Grand Cru. Reminds me a bit of a cider at first; then of the Celis White Ale; then of a gentler version of the Celis Grand Cru. Pray that they brew this year round !

Tasty. orange and floral notes, easy but refreshing hop bite, not too dry and not too sweet. Finishes beautifully.

Very reminiscent of a triple as opposed to a a saison. The high alcohol and sweetness caught me off gaurd. However the flavor is excellent

Another great beer courtesy of my son down in Texas - Real Ale Brewing Co's Brewer's Cut Grand Cru. On the pour, a nice, thick creamy head the color of wheat. The first sip had an initial malty flavor, followed by a sour taste - my tastebuds screamed sauerkraut. I think this would be the perfect beer to have with grilled brats! It had a mildly bitter finish. All in all, deeelicious!
