Appearance- A beautiful deep dark brown. Cream colored head that disappears quickly.
Smell- Coffee and chocolate in that order. Almost smells like root beer.
Taste- You can taste the coffee right up front. Maybe some dark bitter chocolate. Hints of roasted malt too. Alcohol sugar comes in on the back-end.
Mouthfeel- Really nice mouthfeel. Exactly how a porter should go down. Not as thin as an IPA, but not as thick as an Russian Imperial stout.
Overall- A great seasonal beer from a good brewery. Grab some if you still can, but drink them ASAP. These won't taste good for long.
