chocolate roasted malt with a brininess/salinity factor from the oyster
this was an oddity that I enjoyed thoroughly while it lasted, and went especially good with Irish Lamb stew, as I recall from my notes.
hoping they do this beauty again someday.

12 oz bottle pours a rich black color with an ample cap of light brown head. Fair retention and pretty nice lacing.
Nose is salty and chocolaty with some serious roast and nutty yeast. I like the boldness of this, most oyster stouts tend to come across as cautious. This one has a rich, full bore aroma.
Taste is excellent as well and there is a nice little hop finish that could go unnoticed, but adds a really nice clean up at the end. Flavors and mouthfeel follow the aroma and are rich and full. The saltiness is terrific and the chocolate/roast balance is very well done. I like it...another good Brewer's Cut. Hasnt been too many misses in this series.
