pours a semi-hazy gold body with a large fluffy off-white head that has moderately high retention and leaves a copious amount of lacing bubbles behind as it settles to a patchy marsh of a cap
aroma is slightly fruity leaning classic west coast combo of citrus and pine with light caramel malt; feels robust, but not dank
taste reflects the aroma; it's a pretty standard but beautifully executed affair, going clean, piney, and juicy. great flavor balance of the hops and malt
mouthfeel is medium-light body with mid-level carbonation. it feels robust and chewy, but lightens up eventually in an interesting balancing act on the tongue. the finish is dry and leaves a clear, compressed version of the taste profile in the aftertaste.
overall:
balance is the word, here. well done homage to West Coast OGs, but lacking the aggressive hops, instead opting for (again) balance in the pine/malt/fruit love triangle. bravo for a session, bully-bully for originality.

12 oz can (“best by 05/04/21”) poured into a plastic cup at the Lakeway Resort pool bar. Pours nearly clear golden yellow with a frothy head of white foam. Aromas of fruity hops and light cereal grains. Typical IPA flavors of citrus (grapefruit, orange), slight pine resin, a hint of caramel and alcoholic warmth. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A nice American IPA, better than expected selection for a poolside bar.

A high-bitter IPA that tends toward the sharper, more resinous hops.

12 oz. bottle poured into clean glass. Golden and clear when poured, looks refreshing. Head and lacing were middling. Citrus tones on the nose, which follow faintly through to the taste along with some hints of malty finish. Crisp finish. A good beer, enjoyed after a long day of work.

Dark gold color and mostly clear. Poured from 12 oz bottle with very little head, and lacing starts creamy but dissipates quickly. Nose is a bit caramel and alcohol. Flavor starts somewhat peachy with citrus tangerine. Feel is normal, nothing noteworthy. It is a decent IPA but not really a standout

Solid IPA, worth a try if in Tejas.

Floral with a pale malt base. Balanced for the most part, but not fine tuned. Hop profile is nothing dazzling. A very basic IPA widely available at a fair price. Drinkable but forgettable.

I love this Texas style IPA! Nice nose with citrus/pine overtones, beautiful golden color and good head when properly poured. This is stocked in my fridge and thankfully, readily available in longnecks at all my usual haunts. Superb when sampled in the taproom at the brewery and darn near as good on the couch at home.

Fine, but no Axis IPA or Fireman's. Those two are wonderful brews from this Brewer.
