Infected. I've been very impressed with the wild's in this series but I suppose this goes to show the inherent danger in running a wild program and a clean beer program side by side.

Poured from tap into sniffer, minimal tan colored head, recedes quickly soso lacing. Jet black in the glass. Smells faintly of coffee roasted malt, very little bourbon character. Taste is coffe on the front, fades into some mild bourbon, not much, a bit it is there. Had better for less.

Disappointing. I was expecting a lot more from a (small size) $20 bottle of bourbon-barrel imperial coffee stout.
Tons of cold-brew coffee for sure, but little else. I didn't get any bourbon... maybe because it was aged for only three months.
The body is on the thin side and the drinkability is high (feel the caffeine kick). Overall, not happy I paid so much for this "only OK" brew.
