Therefore, fellow BA, understand that--before you read my review--I don't know what in the Hell I'm talking about! But I know what I like.
Color, pour and head seem about the same as the other beers from this brewery--firmly above average. Aroma is definitely musty and must have something to do with that rye! Foretaste gives a definite, quenching twang on the tongue that might be the elusive flavor I am not cognizant of. Foretaste gives way to a snappy bittering-hop finish with echoes of Rueben sandwiches in the background .
That quenching rye thing is moderately addictive.
