"Blame it on Rio."
This beer is something I like to think of as an Alt-Pilsner. On a first-hand tasting from the brewmeisters' hands I could have sworn that they dry-hopped this baby, only to find out that they dump the Saaz hops late in the boil to give it that bitch-slappin', face-smackin' feeling. (This is unheard of for Texas beers, by the way.)
The body comes across smooth and shiny, and actually finishes really clean while leaving the tip of the tongue a little numb from the Saaz assault.
