Appearance: Quite cloudy, almost muddy dark golden color, fairly large head with lots of sticky lace.
Aroma: Delicate spicy aroma with hints of honey and caramel.
Taste: Opens with a note of sweet caramel malts, followed by toasty notes. Finishes with a pleasant herbal/medicinal hop note.
Smooth malt taste with a decent flush of hops.
Mouth feel: Smooth and quite full, with just a hint of carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A pleasant pale ale, not so over hopped that the other characteristics disappear. Very nice.
Serving type: bottle
