Real Ale Real Heavy is Real Good (sorry, couldn't resist stooping to that level!), but it's not great.
Sampled on tap at the Flying Saucer in Houston. Served in a tulip glass at a bit too cold of a temperature.
Pours dark amber, with a half-inch head of beige foam. Little lacing noted. Aroma is sweet and fruity. The taste is sweet, with caramel, brown sugar, maltiness, very little hop balance, and a fairly big alcohol bite. Mouthfeel is nice with the lower carbonation and a medium-full body.
So what does it need to be great?
Well, in my opinion, a bit of peak-smoked malt, and a slightly higher noble hopping rate. That would give it more complexity and improve the drinkability. Otherwise, as tasty as it is, one is enough for me.
A good beer and a welcome (hopefully permanent) addition to the Real Ale lineup.

12oz bottle served in a tulip. Bottled on Jan 05 2023. Got it in a trade with @MrSandman101.
Pours murky brown, clearish at the edges, with a small, very fine head, and a small amount of head. Smell is very oaky, some dates, some nuts and sticky toffee pudding.
Taste is boozy, bitter wood, nearly-burnt molasses, quite sweet. Boozy.
Mouthfeel is thick and chewy, though not sticky. Overall, nice scotch ale.

Poured brown and a bit cloudy with little head and no lace.
Very sweet and plenty malty with a brown sugar finish. Not especially complex.
Overall it's a bit north of so-so.

Look: Clear deep amber. Off white , lasting foam
Smell: Dried dark fruit, cherries, malt
Taste: Sweet notes of raisins, cherries, brown sugar
Feel: Slightly on the thin side of a medium mouthfeel, with spot on carbonation
Overall: A nice representation of a Scotch ale. Perhaps not as standout as some others, but for $2 a 12 oz bottle, it can’t be beat.

12oz bottle poured into a Tulip glass.
Appearance is deep red with a quarter inch of quickly dissipating off-white head.
Smell is low in strength. It smells like sweet malt.
Taste is somewhat above medium in strength. It tastes like sweet malt, a bit of raisen, a fair amount of alcohol, and a slight hop bitterness. The high ABV adds some heat. More complexity would help.
Feel is almost medium-high in thickness. Carbonation and astringency are medium.
Overall, it's too basic.

Pours a somewhat murky brown with thin layer of cream colored head. Above average head retention and average lacing
S: Figs, smokey,
T: Figs, smokey/peaty with some brown sugar sweetness/dryness upfront. Leafy hops, dryness, peat, and figs as this warms. Finishes dry with woody and leafy hops, plus a little peat
MF: Medium body with fairly carbonation
Solid take on the style, ABV is subtle

Appearance: Clear amber-red in color, with a moderate, quite dense, and persistent off-white head. Fat bubbles race to the surface, while streams of minute bubbles drift lazily to the surface. Thick sheets of unbroken lacing adorn the glass walls.
Aroma: Rich aroma of dark caramel, toasted dark bread, earth, raisins, plums and nuts greet the senses. Vinous alcohol dominates the aroma.
Taste: Opens rather sweet with strong notes of burnt caramel and sweet alcohol. As the taste progresses, there are notes of plum, raisins, and nuts. In the middle of the taste, there is a bit of an oak note. Later in the taste, earth and molasses ascend. Finishes with a faint, but lingering earthy hop note.
Mouth feel: Very smooth and soft, with a very pleasant feel.
Drinkabilty/notes: Very pleasant and drinkable, an absolute bargain at the offered price of $7.99 in the "Bomber Six-Pack".
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass long neck bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a Save the World Brewing teku. My bottle notes an ABV of 9.3%. Bottled on 01/06/2020.
