Pours out a clear pale gold and lacy white head.

Some honeysuckle sweet and bready malts. Floral hops and slightly lemony hop. Could come off less sweet.

Light and crisp with a bit of hop bitterness that hits upfront and dissipates through the end. Not as sweet as the nose indicates thankfully. Bready, floral, touch herbal and grassy.

So much better than I remember a couple years ago. I remember a distinct soapiness to it. This can ruled.

12oz can. Pours a hazy straw gold topped with clingy white foam head. Pleasant noble hop aroma with a soft breadiness. Crisp and light, but not too light. Lemon rind bitterness upfront that's a bit rough on the palate with a raw leafiness, some grass, herbal and floral flavors. Mostly dry, but there's some malty sweetness and cereal grain folded into a bready malts. Dry, grainy finish.

A bit rough around the edges, but this is a good stab at a German-style Pils with a ton of drinkability.

Poured from the can into a Libbey style pilsner glass.

Deep golden lemon, shiny, with a bit of haze to it a little, but with lots of ample rising carbonation and perfectly near spaced bubbles from the bottom. Head is bright white and fluffy at a solid three fingers. Rises with soapy retention and hang a bit with pill and some clingy lace. The body color even has a bit of green hue to it. Nearly perfect looking real impressive.

An extemely clean and very subtle classic nose. Clean malt and crisp sensing with a mild herbality. Good notes of thick bread dough and classic hinting chewy quality. Gets virtually mouthwatering after quite a few snifs.

Palate really sings. First sip fills with a bit of classic bread dough but is a bit hammered down by a controlled crisp effervescence and hop flash. Big huge lemon lime hop flavors in the mid palate, with a good rush. Chewy and crisp with a big classic density, and large almost champagne wash and dryness, but thick honey just a bit with some warmth and time to stay true to pils character.

Great flavorful and tasting pils, this one is a winner.

Appearance: Hazy straw yellow color. Hard to say what the head looks like since the bartender did an awful job pouring it. All that's left is a thin ring of white lace.

Smell: Light grainy malt and distinctive flowery/spicy noble hops. Clean, no fruity esters, no diacetyl.

Taste: Dry from start to finish. Crisp with a long-lasting bitterness from the noble hops that lasts into the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation. Low bodied.

Overall: Crisp, clean, refreshing beer that prominently features noble German hop bitterness. Loses big points in the appearance for lack of a head (maybe due to bartender error), and the hazyness. It also looses out a tad in the mouthfeel department. Still, it's a phenomenal summer beer, and at 5.3% ABV you can toss back 2 or 3 without becoming inebriated.

Drank on tap at the Flying Saucer in Addison.

The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is grassy and earthy hops with some flowery notes. The flavor is grapes and biscuit malt but it is very bitter. The bitterness is well above what I expect in a pilsener and detracts from the overall flavor of the beer. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. The bitterness in this beer needs to be toned way down before I can enjoy it.
