Smell: Strong malt and bread comes through. Light floral.
Taste: A little bitter, typical of style.Sime fruitiness toward the end.
Feel: Mild carbonation. Tingles goes away quickly.
Overall: Slightly better than middle of the road. Enjoy with spicy foods.

12oz bottle with a best by date of JUL 28 2020. Opened 6-12-20.
1 finger white head holds steady at a solid cap. Spotty, limited lacing.
Pale gold with good clarity and slow moving but active carbonation.
Mild fruity aromas and light bready malt, floral/spicy hops. Low aroma overall but pleasant.
Light apple skin, moderate malt flavor, beer. Pleasant and flavorful enough with no flaws in my opinion.
Light body, medium carbonation. Clean, quick, and dry finish.
Well made and a summer crusher no doubt, would take this over any AAL all day. Hydration.
Very Good.

Notes from 1/11/2020.
I received a can of Fireman's #4 in a beer Advent calendar I gut from WhichCraft Tap Room and Bottle Shop in my neighborhood in Austin.
Poured from a 12oz can into a tulip glass.
The appearance is clear golden with one finger of quickly receding white foam leaving a moderate amount of thin lacing. 3.25
The aroma is moderate in strength, and consists of coriander, citrus, a little hay, and malt. 4.00
The taste is closer to being medium than light. I taste coriander, a little apple, other notes of fruit, and a crisp clean finish. 4.00
The mouth feel is medium with enough carbonation to bump up the refreshing factor. 4.00
Overall, it is easy to drink without being boring. In 2006 through 2010, I had more pints of Fireman’s #4 than I dare to recall. This was my first time to have a Fireman’s in many years. I thought it might be nothing special but it is still a very good easy drinking beer. However, HefeWeisen by Live Oak is my go to easy drinking beer of choice that I almost always have in my fridge. I won't be buying Fireman’s any time soon. 4.00

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a bready and yeasty smell mixed with some aromas of a clove and coriander. Along with these smells comes a little bit of hay and caramel sweetness.
Taste – The taste begins with a caramel sweet and doughy taste that has a decent showing of a yeasty and clove and coriander spice right from the start. As the taste moves forward there is more and more doughiness with it taking on some more grainy notes. Along with these tastes comes some flavors of a fruitiness of a harvest fruit nature, with apple, peach, and apricot all there. At the end a touch of hay and grass come to the tongue and leave one with a sorta malty and sweet blond taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. The feel is decent for the taste profile and the abv., but overall its nothing all that great.
Overall – An OK blond, with a decent more sweet taste. Easy drinking and a decent more session like brew overall.
