The beer was served on-tap at the Orlando Brewing tasting room, and served in a pint glass. The beer is a very dark, vibrant, clear, blood-ruby coloring with no trace of head whatsoever. There are aromas of dark molasses sweetness and coffee bitterness. The flavors are richly sweet of dark fruits, including cherries, dates, and raisins, reminiscent of Port wine. Earthly tones, also, with a rich, dark, sweet overall feel. The aftertaste is richly sweet and sharp at the same time, with a slight boozey influence. The finish is super-sweet and slightly slick. This is a strong brew.

Enjoyed on-tap at the brewery. Served in a 10oz glass, this beer pours a dark brown color with a small light tan colored head. The aroma is very malty with some caramel and just a hint of hops. The taste features a really nice malty base with some caramel and a nice amount of hops in the finish. Overall, this is one of the more enjoyable beers at the brewery that is definitely worth a shot. Recommended.

These guys are cranking out the brews, here's another nice offering I had the chance to sample.

Very nice clear dark oak on the pour, nice light brown head with plenty of head and lacing. Very malty aroma of caramel, which slides over into the quaff. A very sweet dopple, I'd think it could use a bit more hop balance - but some really like the sweeter beers. Reminds me of the Sam Adams dopple.

Still a tasty treat, served in a 10oz pilsner type glass, since it weighs in at 7%.
