On tap at Magnolia.

This was a great mild beer to start off with.

Appearance was yellow with nice white head. Smell was pretty wheaty and yeasty. Taste was wheaty and light. Pretty low abv on this, super easy to drink.

Overall a really good beer. Paired nicely with the beer brat I ordered with it.

On-tap at Magnolia

A: The pour is a clear pale straw color with a finger sized white head.

S: The beer smells heavily of butter with some light buttery notes. A faint hoppiness to it and perhaps a bit of a popcorn aroma.

T: Mostly sweet corn with some light flavor of grain husks. The bitterness is mild to moderate with a surprising amount of bready flavor.

M: The body is light to medium with a fairly high level of carbonation.

D: Not really a big fan of the American Blonde Ale style, and that's pretty much what this is. Just too light to really hide the flaws that exist.

Sampled 11/13/2010 at the brewpub.

Pours light yellow, slightly hazy, white head, decent retention, surprising amount of retention.

Aroma is corn, English malt, bread, CO2.

Flavor is light, sweet, corn, malty, CO2, and slightly Belgian. Medium/high bitterness. More like a light Belgian Pale meets an American Macro Lager.

Body is light, high levels of drinkability, and amply carbonated.

Tick.
