On draught:
Pours a golden straw/amber color with tight bubbles and a wonderful biscuitty aroma on the nose. Nicely carbonated. Enjoyable malt, lots of biscuit in balance. Holds its flavor profile as it warms to room temperature. I really like this one. Light, refreshing, mild (and low ABV) but so flavorful. A real easy drinker and one I’ll gladly try again. Eminently sessionable.

On cask:
Same beer, with some notable differences. The nose drops off from the cask but the biscuits come through. I noticed a more piney hop finish at the end, and drank this one way too easily. Another winner. (600 characters)

On tap at the brewery, review from written notes.
Bright clarity in the glass, reddish amber with a tight cap of offwhite foam. Spotty lace but not much that sticks around.

Buttery diacetyl and bitter husky grains, nothing too far outside of the style profile. Medium bodied, some nutty malt complexity, vaguely bitter walnut aftertaste. Some earthy hop presence in the middle. Light and easy drinking, overall good, nothing too earth-shattering, but tasty. (463 characters)

On tap at the brewpub. Imperial pint. Golden orange. White head. Easy drinking Esb. Earthy and clean with biscuit and citrus notes. Lighter bodied. Crisp and refreshing. Enjoyable Esb. Nothing out of the ordinary. (213 characters)
