I have came here almost a dozen times and saw it was listed on BeerAdvocate! Very interesting considering its not a big time beer place. Other than this, Blueberry Hill is an awesome bar/experience you have to see when coming to the Loop or St. Louis in general.

Whether coming into the front doors to attend a show @ their "Duck Room", shoot darts, or to simply enjoy a burger with friends, I have always been greeted with a friendly "let me see your i.d." at the front door. No problem but I'm sure if dining in with parents, a minor would be allowed to enter. The place is broken up into over 6 rooms (Duck Room, Elvis Room, Dart Room, Piano Room, "Pac-Man" Room, St. Louis Room, Smoking Porch, and the Main Bar). Find yourself in any of these, and your bound to have a great time!

I have never had any problems with the service here but they certainly aren't outgoing or very helpful. Its best if you visit the bar, start a tab, and then move with your group to the dart or pac-man room (if dining in). Sometimes the service is a bit slow. Can't complain though because the place is such a fun time.

Beer selection isn't bad. Two weeks ago, after hitting Cage the Elephant @ the Pageant, there was a nice beer menu (including Lagunitas, Delirium, Wittekerke, Schlafly, Boulevard, and many more). On-tap was usuals like Schlafly, Blue Moon, Magic Hat, New Belgium, and other A.B. products and definitely can't complain.

Food is delicious because I stick to the things I love best here. I suggest starting with the Cheddar Cheese Balls for an appetizer and then moving to either their Famous Burger or Hickory. Both are awesome!

Make time to come here! Blueberry Hill is such a great time, no matter if your attending a show, shooting darts, or just simply coming for a drink/food.

I visited Blueberry Hill during a recent trip to Saint Louis and I would recommend it as a fun spot to go. This place is located in the Loop area of Saint Louis and you can go up and down the Saint Louis Walk of Fame which is on the same street as Blueberry Hill.

The atmosphere at Blueberry Hill is great. They have old school Atari games, video games, and pinball machines that you can play. The walls are all adorned with music stuff from records to concert posters to guitars. There is a hallway that is decorated with pictures of all the famous people who have visited Blueberry Hill. This place has live music regularly although there wasn't a live band while I was there.

The food was decent and so was the beer selection. I was surprised to see a couple of Rogue beers on the beer list including Dead Guy Ale. The selection included a few Schlafly beers and some other beers local to Saint Louis. I had a dry hopped APA which was excellent.

Although not a beer destination in and of itself, this place was a lot of fun to go to.

This is a great restaurant/bar located in a bustling area of University City. Great burgers and fries, I really like the buffalo shrimp, and a pretty decent beer selection, although not necessarily a beer bar from a beer geek perspective. As noted, a wide wange of patrons visit and it's pretty crowded all the time, although people get moved through quickly. The duck room is in the basement and I've seen lots of concerts there. a great, although very small venue. Perhaps one of the coolest things is besides the sections of odd-ball collections (think cabinets of smurfs and star trek to other misc collections) is the pictures of the 'famous' people, mostly musicians and sports figures that have been through the place, or down the street at the pageant. If you're in the area, check this place, Ciceros, and Pi out.

Known for the atmosphere and burgers. A fun place to go in a fun area of town. Very busy on weekends. Wide range of patrons, from hipsters to locals to tourists to college kids to families. The Duck Room is a great place to watch a show, and Chuck Berry still plays once a month. Decent beer selection- BMC and Euro standards, Schlafly, O’Fallon, Lagunitas, other American micros, and some Belgians. This place isn't essential for a traveling beer geek, but it gets the job done if you're looking for a fun place in a fun neighborhood for a group of people.

So Blueberry Hill is that staple restaurant of the Delmar Loop neighborhood in University City, Missouri. It's a haven for pop culture fanatics (with photos of Joe - the man that is credit for the creation of the Loop's popularity with every band that has ever come through his doors or that he's met by being a well-networked self-made millionaire). The vibe of the place is good and the food is good and reasonably price.

Beer selection is average at best with a few (maybe 10) on tap and maybe 30 in bottle. You'll likely be drinking Schlafly or Abita, which are probably the best staples offered. The service, well since below 1.0 is not an option...it's a 1.0. Delmar Loop is a trendy alternative culture neighborhood that sits against Washington University in St Louis. So what is clear is that your hipster bartender/server has been mocked so much by Wash U students that they are now more willing to restock the napkins than tend to any consumers. They also do not split bills. If you want to split, you have to figure out what is yours off the running list of prices on the bill. They're also known for slipping in extra charges (so be diligent in double checking) It notoriously known for this with locals, so it's really just haunted by new initiates or tourists.

Overall, it's a good place to grab a cheap burger 365 days a year (yes, it's open every day of the year). However, if you like beer - head down the block to Cicero's for a real beer menu and wait staff which cares for the craft of beer.

Hit this place up on 12/2 on a recent trip to STL.

The decor on this place is pretty awesome - very steeped in history, all wooden floors. It's got an older feel that really works for hte place. The back room is the smoking section and they have roughly 7-8 dart boards back here. Along the walls are pictures of the owner with a multitude of different celebrities - actors, musicians, politicians.
Being from the Northeast, I thought the beer selection was pretty good. Schlafly, Big Sky, O'Fallon, New Belgium, Lagunita's, and Boulevard are all offered. There is a good deal of BMC, and other more mainstream beers offered, but a good offering of localy brewed beer that isn't necessarily distributed up my way.
The food was awesome. I swear, the best fricking wings that I have gotten my hands on (outside of homemade) and I got a side of tater tots. Who offers tater tots outside of school lunch? It was great! And cheap as hell! Our server was awesome! Great guy who made sure that we were taken care of without being up our asses.
I will hit this place again.

Overall, my feeling coming away: Beer Selection = Meh. Obviously, this place has a lot of history, but as far as the beer selection goes it was quite disappointing. I'd seen it named in Draft magazine as one of the best places to go in the midwest, but it's selection, while relatively large, was pretty piss-poor. If you're looking for a macro on draft, you're good to go, but they only had a few real beers on draft, and most of them were Schlafly and Boulevard. No IPAs, no stouts (besides Guinness)... they did have Fat Tire's 1554, which I'm somewhat fond of, but that's about it. I ultimately had a glass of 1554 and a bottle of Two-Hearted, which was their specialty beer-of-the-month (one of my favorites, but not exactly exotic) that I paid $5 for. When I asked the bartender what he thought of Boulevard's Single-Wide IPA, which I'd never had before, he told me it was very hoppy, and then warned me that IPAs were pretty bitter for a beer. Insulting my beer knowledge is not going to win you very many brownie points with me.

The atmosphere is nice. The place has several rooms, a lot of booths, and a room with a bunch of dartboards (which is a big plus in my book). Overall, this is a nice-looking place, but if you're looking for a good beer, or especially anything resembling a good selection, go elsewhere.

I was able to visit Blueberry Hill on my last visit to St. Louis. This place is located on the old Delmar Loop, where parking is just horrendous. All I can say, is plan on a bout 20 minutes of time to find a spot. As you walk to the front of the place, there is a huge annoying neon/light up sign, you see on the front of Casinos. Really tacky. As you walk, in the first thing you hear is loud fifties music. No that I have a problem with it, but it was rather distracting from the conversation I was trying to have with the people I was with. Blueberry Hill, is a fifties themed restaurant. This needs to be made explicitly clear. It is a restaurant that has a decent beer selection. They have about 20 or so taps, most of which are BMC or major Imports but they do have a good selection of O'Fallon and Schlafly. My wife was drinking Strongbow on tap. The service wasn't bad, just very inattentive. We could sit a couple minutes before she would come back to get more drink orders. The food was pretty typical of a bar. Nothing out of this world. Really, you go to places like this for the nostalgia of it, not the beer. If you find yourself on the Loop, stop by to have a Stag and some fried mushrooms but don't go here thinking they are a true beer bar.

Friday night and the place is packed, parking can be a challenge. Great atmosphere a very diverse crowd, live music and a huge game-room, I had a hard time getting a waitress at a table in the we were at, I had to go to the bar myself often, the food was pretty good. The beer selection was average, I stuck with Schlafly oatmeal stout(nothing new to try). Lots of cool stuff to look at also, mostly pictures of the owner with celebrities. A cool place to hang out but nothing special in the way of beer.
