I should start out by saying that this is a store I've frequented many times over the years and it has seen good and bad days (mostly bad days). Factors that come in to play are management, lack of air conditioning, old beers always in stock, empty shelves that once held many brews, the list keeps going and going. I was told that this place has once again opened under new management so I thought I'd check it out to see if anything has changed.

Looks like the interior has been redone and it does look alot nicer than before. After walking in the door off High St. you will need to hang a right to get to the beer area. The first shelf in this area has several larger size bottles and some imports at room temperature. There is a sign posted that reads these selections are also kept cold in the back of the cooler. I noticed brews from Unibroue, Tucher, Baltika, d'Achouffe, Huyghe, and St. Bernardus. Once past this shelf there are several coolers of singles that are available for make-your-own six packs. Selection in the singles section is nice. After these coolers there are 10-15 coolers of cold sixers with craft brews and macros selections. Some of the breweries represented are Great Lakes, New Holland, Founders, Avery, Rogue, Green Flash, Southern Tier, Bells, Lakefront, and Brooklyn. Nice to see most of the beer in the store is kept cold.

Overall, this is the best shape that I have seen this store in. There is a wide selection of brews that are priced on par with other establishments in the area. I think it is still fairly new this time around so quality is going to be good. Time will tell if this is going to last but, for now, this is a nice place to stop if you need to pick up some good beer.

Small little convenience store on High Street, good selection. They have all the typical Ohio selections, a good singles section, which was nice, picked up a couple Head Hunters. About 6 taps for growler fills. Nice staff, I asked if any Three Floyds was in, they said no, but were nice about it.

Prices seemed reasonable, a little dingy on the inside and outside, but a great selection inside.
