The beer pours from the 750ml bottle a hazy golden amber with a bit of orange shading, head is creamy white and piles high on the body, lace forms a nice concealing sheet. Nose has a candy sweet aroma, fruity, peaches comes to mind, a bit astringent, soapy, start has a decent sweet malt presence, slight bitterness along with the tartness, moderate in feel. Finish has unrelenting acidity, sour and sweet continues, hops understated, very dry, a drinkable beer, 8.4 percent ABV, does leave an alcohol bitterness and a bit of a warming sensation.

This beer is best served at 50-55F.
Poured in a Orval Trappist glass. Light apricot color with a 1/2 finger head. The aroma was a light apricot/clove- not as strong as other tripels.

The mouth feel is very carbonated- more than other tripels I have tasted. I would have preferred a less carbonated mouth feel.

The taste is light apricot/clove. Not as pronounced as other tripels. The finish is bitter at lower serving temps and mellows at higher temps, where the bitterness is clearly the alcohol in the finish. The taste also mellows at higher temps.

A very good tripel. However, I like a smoother tripel, such as St. Bernardus.

This beer sits within the median of the color spectrum between yellow and nearly red. It's a bit cloudy, but there's very little by way of "floaties." A sizeable and dense, rocky head is well-retained, and there's good lacing on the walls of the glass.
The yeast shows some strength in the aroma as bready, mildly sweet and somewhat earthy notes with some dryness balance. Tropical fruit is there, and there's some light funk and phenolic character present.
The flavor is dry but set against fruity and yeasty notes, and a light tart/sour combo speaks to bottle fermentation. It's earthy and slightly peppery. Some herbal plant and spiciness provide several different flavor notes from sweet to savory. Otherwise, some tropical and citrus fruits lie underneath.
The mouthfeel shows the Belgian skill in balancing the very delicate and precise character of Belgian styles. It has a not-quite aspirin dryness, a soft flow, creaminess, and light mustiness on the palate.

On tap at Churchill Cigar Lounge in San Diego. Cloudy light frosted amber color in the tall tulip. Perfect white creamy foam and lacing down to the last sip. The sudsy mouthfeel adds to the deliciousness.

Warm and grainy flavor with a tangy zing. The fruity and slightly tart taste mixes nicely with the sweet maltiness. This is the more sweet and friendly side of the strong Belgian style. There is a liqueur-like sensuousness. aromatic, even perfumey flavors. This is quite a dessert. The Belgian yeasty drying effect gives it a surprise finish. This is fruitier and less austere than some Tripels, but I think it's totally sippable.

This beer is really good! super drinkable triple. The problem is I got only half a bottle because it exploded when I opened it. The mouth feel was very good which is deceiving since the beer initially appeared over carbonated. Its kinda sweet with that famous Belgium triple taste you expect. The appearance is a bit murky...but who cares lol! This brew is kinda like a mellow Pannepot. Overall its a super drinkable triple that totally hides the ABV.

Bottom Line" Great Brew!
