1 pint, 9 fluid ounce green bottle without freshness dating.

Pours especially clear golden yellow. A large and thin soapy head quickly vanishes, leaving excellent lacing. Smells quite citrusy. Powdery lemon and lime peels over toasted grain husks and pepper spice. The flavor is much drier and more tart. Strong lime rinds at the fore, developing sour urea and barnyard notes in the center. Finishes with very dry toasted grains. Light and clean, slightly astringent mouthfeel. Very clean and refreshing overall.

Very nice hazy gold color. Aroma of citrus and herbs. Quite refreshing with mild grapefruit aftertaste that grows for several seconds. A bit hoppy. I'm not usually a fan of strong hops, but this one is is very good, not too bitter. Makes me want a good bar burger with a slab of sharp cheese. Nice summer beer. I'll have this 75 cl bottle polished off by evening's end... right after that burger.

Hazy golden color with a two finger thick head with good retention and leaving lots of laces.
Nice aroma of lemongrass, herbal and floral hops, tea leaves, lemon and oxidize oranges.
Refreshing and hoppy flavor with spices, mild grapefruit, lemon, green apples, pineapples, pears and herbal and floral hops. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light towards medium body with good carbonation with tiny bubbles.
What a pleasant fruity Blond Ale, refreshing, well balanced and hoppier than usual Belgian counterparties. I drank the whole big bottle in a blink.

Got this on tap at blue monk in buffalo. Pours a nice golden color. Light citrusy nose. A bit disappointed with the taste at first as the fruit and hops were very subtle with an almost watery finish. But this beer really grew on me. It is a well balanced pale ale with a nice flavor and mild citrus and spiciness. Subtle but perfect pairing for my frites.

Beer bottle (75 cl.) purchased from Bières & Chpoes, and tasted in 2014 (w australian friends).

Appearance : orange color, with white foamy head.
Smell : yeasty and spices aromas.
Taste & mouthfeel : dry hoppy flavors, with notes of spices and citrus
Drinkability : a good beer in the French style "Bière de Garde".

Hazy corn silk yellow with piles of lumpy snow white froth.
Clean fresh grain, cut hay and a bit of flowers, wax, and peach - subtle.
Light cracker, some orchard fruit, a mild yeast hit, then some light white pepper and lemon zest to end.
Nectarine finish and tingly linger.
Crisp, round, dry, slight cling

Summer in a glass. Even 6 months out of date, light, bright, complex yet easy to drink. Good training wheels for Belgians and great food beer - especially Thanksgiving turkey.

Far exceeded expectations for a 5% summer ale, and made me curious about De Rulles.

Note: Hey, American hopped as it turns out - Warrior, Amarillo, Cascade, 35 IBUs. In that case, it probably has faded, but to only the gentlest, balanced citrus. Still lovely.

Pours a peach/bright beige color with a white soapy head and some lace. Aroma of pungent European hops, perhaps Saaz or Tettneng varieties judging from the skunk like properties. In the flavor, pale malts and leafy hops, with a small lemony character. Medium bodied, creamy feel. Overall this is a simple Belgian pale, pretty mellow, with euro hops.

A - What wonderful carbonation giving me a 1/2 inch that settles to a 1/4 inch of sticky white foam. Color is kind of hazy bright yellow with plenty of carbonation bubbles.
S - Smells of citrus and pine hops, very vivid despite it probably being over a year old. Mild fruity yeasts and some pale malts.
T - Quite good the balance of hops to malts is near perfect. The taste is mildly dry with the yeast but rounds out in the finish. Taste is very session able.
M - True Belgium beers seem to have a weird body and over carbonation but I will be damned if this 5% pale is perfectly carbonated and not champagne like more like beer!
Overall I really like this its a very tasty Belgium ale that hasn't been skunked in a year despite the green bottle and an especially good deal since I got the bomber for just 5 bucks!
