A: Dark maroon color with a small white head that evaporates quickly and leaves delicate lacing.
S: Aroma of caramel, prunes and light spice.
T: Flavor of dark winter fruits, malt and caramel.
M: Good body.
D: Interesting example of the style, worth trying, but could be more complex.

La Rulles- Nöel

A- Deep purplr red with a smal foamy head.
S- Strong fruits like cherry and plum.
T- Fruits like Plum, cherry, and grape dominate a mellow vanilla caramel malt backbone.
M- Sweet with juicy fruit flavors. Very smooth with no alc. detected.

Overall- Very easy to drink. I detected a whole lot of plum in this one. Tasty!

Had on tap at the Brickstore in Decatur, GA. Pours a reddish brown, very murky and with great lacing. The smell is slightly mettallic, sour and a little malty. The taste is sweet and sour with some spice. Tastes like a cross between a gluhkriek and a flemish brown with the spices and fruit more restrained. Some barnyard flavors on the finish as well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little less dense than I'd maybe like.
Interesting, if a little tame lead to good drinkability.

Poured into a wine glass, it pours a dark mahogony color with a thin white shoestring of edge layer forming around the glass.

Aroma is mostly of plums and grapes, but nothing else really hits me here; quite disappointing.

Very tart apples and grapes hit me on the tongue right up front, then a thin carbonated body leads to a bit of bitterness toward the finish. Not very complex taste for a belgian, but pretty yummy.

Mouthfeel is a bit better than average. The tartness and biteyness of it take away a bit from it. A bit of alcohol hits me also toward the swallow.

Overall, this is one I would not bother trying again. I expect better from Belgium really. Actually, wait, maybe I would just because it's not macro beer; I should try this one from home in a bottle.
